Sasha Fierce and Jigga Named Richest Celeb Couple

A new Forbes list has named Beyonce and husband Jay-Z the richest celebrity couple for fiscal period July 2007 - June 2008. The couple amassed a total of $182 Million over this period to end at the top spot.

Jay-Z earned $82 million from his $150 million 10-year deal with concert promoter Live Nation and his wife, Beyonce, raked in $80 million for the year from her business ventures in fashion, film, and music.

Jay and Bey made almost twice as much as Will and Jada who came in at number 2 with $85 Million.

Solange puts her foot in her mouth

For years Solange has tried to break away from the shadow of her older, more popular sister Beyonce, but believe you me this young'un has a lonnnng way to go.

She has definitely broken away from the ugly duckling with the braids to a daring fashionista but she still needs some (Read: a lot) fine tuning.

This morning Solange was interviewed by a Fox affiliate and prior to the start of the interview, Solange was asked, off-air, if she would comment on the recent closure of Jay-Z's 40/40 club in Vegas.

Solange declined to comment but had some stern words for the reporter when the broadcast went live not realising that the Jay-Z question was posed BEFORE the show went live. She was never really able to bring herself back from that and her discomfort showed throughout.

At least she did confirm Jay-Z and Beyonce are married but I think we already knew that. Have a watch.

Beyonce Makes Her Way through Heathrow

Beyonce looked casual and chic as she was seen passing through Heathrow airport in London en route to Ireland yesterday afternoon. The singer was on her way to meet hubby Jay-Z who is playing a concert tonight in Ireland.

After this concert, the pair will return to England for the Glastonbury Festival.

Beyonce made sure that her love for home-state Texas was displayed for all to see on her T-shirt.

What's so cool about Bey is that she can glam it up like nobody's business and still be casual and comfy flawlessly.

Beyonce has been busy filming her latest movie Obsession with Idris Elba and is sure to get busier in the coming months as her new album is tentatively scheduled for a November release.

Solange turns 22 in Style

Solange turned 22 in full celebrity style with a private party thrown by big sister Beyonce that had a guest list which included some pretty big names.

Solange wore a burnt orange dress - loved the colour, not so much the dress - and posed for pics with her sis, mum and a host of other attendees. The guest list included Ludacris, JoJo, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson just to name a few.

I wish my sister would do something like this for me....wait a second...i would have to have a sis huh???!?!?

Beyonce Au Natural

Beyonce was seen out shopping in LA in a look that she doesn't often wear. The bootylicious diva wore no makeup (not even a little lip gloss) as she took advantage of her free time to hit up Neiman Marcus.

Bey is in town shooting her new movie Obsessed.

In semi-related news, does anyone else think of that Blu Cantrell song Oops when they here the words "Neiman Marcus"? Somehow that's always the first thing that comes to mind for me.

Dreamgirl Beyonce and hubby, Jay-Z arrived in Nice on Thursday to participate in the activities for the Cannes Film Festival.

Beyonce looked chic as she left the airport after her arrival. One thing that was pretty suspicious though was the fact that her bag never seemed to NOT cover her stomach....hiding something B??

Beyonce is reportedly in talks to sing the theme song for the new Bond movie as first choice Amy Winehouse has been removed from the project.

Hip hop's newest mega-married-couple were seen last night courtside at the Rockets/ Suns in game Houston.

Even though they have not said whether or not they did do the deed, all reports still point to yes they did. From Mary J. Blige congratulating them while on tour, to Rihanna saying it was a complete shock to her.

Married or not... i think that they have long been acknowledged as hip hop's biggest couple so the marriage wouldn't really make a difference.

On a side note- I really like B's hair like that.

So after much speculation and reporting, we, John Public, are still no wiser about whether or not Jigga and his main Lady Ms. B did indeed get married over the weekend. However, reports have now flourished from 'have the got married?' to 'they got married because she is pregnant.'

Come on now. Can we get to the point where we accept that people want and deserve privacy without trying to put a negative spin on everything. (not saying that a cute lil R&B prince would be a bad thing). But if they did get married, just let them enjoy it with all the happiness and blessings it's supposed to be filled with.
